Trying to get Torn players to leave the house is no mean feat, so for Evaline to have lured them across the globe is a damn miracle. TornCon began as an intimate dinner with Andyman after her other guests let her down. Undeterred, the ever-positive Evaline kept at it, growing the event to the hundredfold gatherings we see today. She later divorced her napkin-addicted spouse to marry Torn’s founder, Chedburn, in 2025, after her overtures to Duke were rejected. This was all in-game, of course, with her real-life spouse 0rganicmechanic often accompanying her to TornCon in a pair of fetching cargo shorts. Evaline’s pristine hosting abilities earned TornCon official recognition in 2023, with the event now serving as an annual reminder that Torn players can, in fact, touch grass.
