A trust authority for player-driven commerce — quality-of-life tools and verified buy paths, built as a good citizen of Torn.
Torn Nexus is the trust and quality-of-life layer on top of Torn’s player economy. It is not a bot, not an off-site marketplace, and it never moves a player’s money or items. It is a matchmaker, a reputation ledger, and a verification authority that makes legitimate in-game trade faster, safer, and fairer. It runs on a transparent 1% processing fee per deal (in Torn bucks) — and an affiliate program that pays players for the signups they bring and the activity they drive.
01 Positioning
Every game economy shares the same friction: finding the best price, trusting a stranger, settling a deal, and not getting robbed in the process. Torn Nexus replaces spreadsheets and blind faith with a single trusted layer — the neutral party that verifies who is real, scores who is reliable, records who owes whom, and proves deals actually happened, all from data the game already exposes. We stand on our own brand.
02 Principles — the hard lines
- Matchmaker and handoff only. Trades always complete inside Torn, peer-to-peer. No off-site sale of in-game assets.
- Prefill, never submit. We pre-fill amounts and open the right Torn screen; a human always presses the final button. No automation — including for the operator.
- We custody nothing. No item, cash, or coin sits with us. “Escrow” means a record of who owes whom, not a vault.
- Read-only by default. We read status and verify outcomes via the official API; we never write actions for a player.
- Good citizen of the game. We respect the terms, protect the economy, and route paying demand to the official store.

05 Safe buy paths
Payments and approvals open only while you’re flying or in hospital, where you cannot be attacked — removing about 90% of buy-mugging. A “bank it now” nudge fires the instant a payment confirms, since muggers can only take cash on hand. Players can switch protection off; everyone else is protected automatically.
Every payment is a prefilled handoff into Torn’s own sendcash or trade screen; the player reviews and presses Send. Full use of the trading features requires a 1% processing payment from the initiator of each buy or sell order: the initiator pre-fills that 1% to Nexus and sends it themselves, and the order is manually approved only after the payment clears the logs — a deliberate person-behind-the-desk step, never an automatic charge. Today the operator approves each order by hand; as the trust score matures, approval for verified, log-cleared payments becomes automatic — stepping the operator out of the routine middle, while the player’s final Send always remains a human action.
06 Goodwill to the game
- We funnel demand to the official store. Need points or a top-up? Our first, gentle suggestion is to buy a pack from the game’s cash shop — revenue straight to the operators.
- We don’t undercut the game. Player-to-player options come second, as a convenience.
- It’s a business rule applied across every game platform Nexus supports.
- We read, we don’t reach in — read-only API use, respect for rate limits, strict adherence to terms.
